Inside the BMW M Night of Trophies at Garching

12/10/2025

Comments

There are race tracks, and then there are hallowed grounds.

This past week, we traveled to Daimlerstraße 19 in Garching—the address that serves as the heartbeat of BMW M. It is the birthplace of the cars we race, and for one night, it was the center of the motorsport world as we attended the 2025 BMW M Night of Trophies.

It was incredibly special to make this trip not just as a duo, but with the people who made this season possible: my co-driver Kenton Koch and Paul Sparta, team owner, representing the crew from Random Vandals Racing.

Winning the 2025 Pirelli GT4 America Silver Class Championship was a grind, fought lap by lap, and standing in Germany made every late night in the garage worth it.

We had an incredible weekend at Sebring! We're still buzzing with excitement after securing back-to-back wins in the Silver Class and overall victories in both races. The entire team delivered a phenomenal performance, and I couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished.

This weekend proved that success in racing hinges on being prepared when opportunity arises. While we can't control when those opportunities appear, we can certainly control how ready we are to seize them.

CrowdStrike by Riley got out fast in the defense of its 2023 Drivers Championship, with George Kurtz and Colin Braun driving the No. 04 CrowdStrike Mercedes-AMG GT3 to a sweep of the 90-minute races in the Pro-Am category at the Fanatec GT World Challenge America.

Out of six races for CrowdStrike Racing drivers, five ended in podium finishes for the program. The results thrilled a group of more than 200 CrowdStrike employees, guests and VIPs.

Leading the way were the efforts of Kurtz and Braun, who grabbed early-season momentum in the Pro-Am Championship by winning the opening two rounds of the year.

On Sunday, Kurtz and CrowdStrike by Riley had a dramatic win after overcoming a five-second penalty for a mid-race pit infraction. The weekend also ended with the No. 04 team in another familiar spot – leading the drivers and teams’ Pro-Am points standings.

Kurtz also began his season in GT America Powered by AWS with a third-place podium run Saturday in the SRO3 class with another Mercedes-AMG GT3 from CrowdStrike by Riley. The 2002 series champion ended the weekend with a fourth-place finish in Sunday’s race to establish himself as a championship contender again.

In Pirelli GT4 America, Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch also recorded multiple podium finishes with two second-place runs in their No. 97 CrowdStrike/AWS BMW M4 GT4 from Random Vandals Racing. Read more.

October 11, 2023, The first-year partnership between CrowdStrike Racing driver Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch concluded with a victory in Pirelli GT4 America on Friday and a third-place finish Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) for Random Vandals Racing in their No. 92 CrowdStrike BMW M4 GT4. IMS was the final event of the season. The finishes earned the team a 3rd place in the 2023 Pirelli GT4 America Championship.

Driver Quotes

Kevin Boehm, No. 92 CrowdStrike BMW M4 GT4: “With CrowdStrike Racing taking a step into GT4 America, I knew there were going to be a lot of challenges this year. I went into it with open eyes and knowing I was going to need to learn a lot. I looked for every opportunity that I could all year. When I look back, I realize that we accomplished a lot. There were lots of times where we always wished there was a little more luck, but even with what we accomplished we can be proud as a team. It’s been a complete pleasure to learn from Kenton and the Random Vandals guys. It’s been an incredible year. As we look into the future, I think I have a lot more experience to build on and it’s only up from here.”

Kenton Koch, No. 92 CrowdStrike BMW M4 GT4: “It’s been awesome to be with Kevin this year. He’s brought a lot of things to the table that has made this program better and better. It’s nice to work with someone like that. He’s also gotten better as a driver in a GT4 car, and this weekend was the best he’s been all year. It’s cool to fly the CrowdStrike logo on the side of this BMW and I’m very fortunate to be part of it. I hope it’s not the last time because it’s been great driving with Kevin this year.”
