INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 11, 2022) – CrowdStrike Racing celebrated another landmark season in SRO Motorsports America with its year-end event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. CrowdStrike Racing had a banner weekend, earning six wins and seven top-10 finishes on the weekend across seven races in three SRO America categories. The team also earned three Driver Championships for the 2022 campaign. The weekend included a bevy of activation and hospitality activities from CrowdStrike, taking advantage of its position as Official Internet and Cloud Security Provider for SRO Motorsports, and culminated in Sunday night’s SRO America gala, where CrowdStrike Racing’s George Kurtz, CJ Moses and Kevin Boehm officially claimed their championship trophies for their respective series. AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 5, 2022) – CrowdStrike Racing will close its most successful season of participation in SRO Motorsports this weekend with one of the year’s most high-profile events: the Intercontinental GT Challenge Indianapolis 8 Hour. CrowdStrike has been at the forefront of multiple international motorsport events this year and Indianapolis now joins that collection. As Official Cloud and Internet Security Provider to SRO Motorsports America, CrowdStrike is the cybersecurity frontrunner, on the front line of protecting data and stopping breaches. Similarly, CrowdStrike Racing has proven to be a leader on the track, finishing first in many of SRO America’s racing categories – including the premier Fanatec GT World Challenge America. The Fanatec GT World Challenge America will receive the majority of the attention during the four-day festival of speed as CrowdStrike Racing drivers George Kurtz and Colin Braun race for their first championship together in the series’ Pro/Am category. SEBRING, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2022) – CrowdStrike Racing, George Kurtz and Kevin Boehm are champions again in SRO Motorsports America following a weekend of wins at Sebring International Raceway. Competing in racing’s penultimate event, the team tallied four victories and five podium finishes in six races. Entering the race weekend well ahead in the points, Kurtz wrapped up his GT America Powered by AWS championship on Saturday with three races left in the season. The next day, Boehm won the Touring Car championship in TC America Powered by Skip Barber Racing Schools. Each series has two more races left on the calendar, with the finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “It’s a fantastic championship for the CrowdStrike Racing by Riley Motorsports team and a great championship for Mercedes,” said Kurtz, co-founder and chief executive officer of CrowdStrike. “I couldn’t be happier with the performance of everyone this year. WATKINS GLEN, New York (July 27, 2022) – CrowdStrike Racing put on another motorsports clinic in SRO Motorsports America competition with four victories in six races at Watkins Glen International. Drivers George Kurtz, Colin Braun and Kevin Boehm each claimed at least one victory during the two days at The Glen. The results also cemented CrowdStrike Racing teams and drivers into the leads of their respective championships. Kurtz, CrowdStrike co-founder and CEO, scored three victories on the weekend: an overall win Sunday alongside Braun in GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS, and a pair of pole positions and wins in GT America Powered by AWS. After victories at Sonoma last month, Honda continued its strong performance in the 2022 TC America Championship at NOLA Motorsports Park this weekend. Kevin Boehm and Mat Pombo piloted their HPD Honda Civic Type Rs to a 1-2 finish in the SRO TC class Saturday, with Carter Fartuch bringing the all-new 11th-generation Si to victory in the TCA class on Saturday, and a podium finish Sunday. TC Honda Civic Type R The third round of the SRO TC America powered by Skip Barber series started with Boehm on the TC class pole in his Skip Barber Racing School HPD Honda Civic Type R. More than half of the race was a battle between Boehm and Clay Williams—with Pombo close behind in the LA Honda World Racing Honda Civic Type R. However, mechanical issues ended Williams’ day, and Boehm went on to record his third victory of the series after winning both races at Sonoma.
Avondale, Louisiana - The #44 BMW M2 CS, Rooster Hall Racing with Colin Garrett at the wheel raced to the fastest lap time of 1:50.885 for the opening practice round of the TC America Powered by Skip Barber Racing School at NOLA Motorsports Park. In overall standings, he was followed by #1 BMW M2 CS, Fast Track Racing driver Jason Ruud with the fastest lap time of 1:51.03. Rounding out the top three overall was #57 BMW M2 CS, Accelerating Performance piloted by Stephen Cugliari.
