There was no shortage of battles on track in Race 3 with TC America at Road America. Ride along as I fight my way to the front. Due to a crash in another class, I had been shuffled back to 6th place and needed to fight my way back into podium position. I finished in P2--and about a week later, was moved to P1 due to a competitor's disqualification.
Qualifying on pole in the rain at at Road America is hard enough--and not being able to see makes it even more interesting. It was the last lap of the session and I had one last chance to finish on top. Watch as the visibility through the windshield gets worse and worse throughout the lap as I work to post the fastest time in the TCA class.

The June 2020 TC America race at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) has been rescheduled for July 9-12. This event will be the first race to take place since the season was temporarily suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I am very excited to return to the race track with the Crowdstrike Racing/AWS Civic Si in July," Boehm says. "VIR is one of my favorite race tracks. Extremely grateful for all of the hard work TC America, VIR, and the state of Virginia have done to make sure this event can take place safely."
During the temporary suspension of the race season, Boehm has been participating in GT Rivals, a sim racing series organized and managed by SRO America, TC America's governing body.
Due to a worldwide pandemic, race cancellations, and rescheduling, there's been a sudden increase in sim racing. Why? Many motorsports organizations, like Indycar and SRO America launched virtual championships during the global stay-at-home time to fill the void.

This race is the eighth and final round of the inaugural GT Rivals Assetto Corsa Competizione esports season.

As expected, GT Rivals virtual Bathurst was a wild ride for all. Boehm qualified in P2 with the CrowdStrike Racing AMG GT3 and survived the first lap shuffle. After spending more than 40-minutes in third place, Boehm clipped the wall leading into the Esses, which forced a spin and placed him in fourth place with only 10-minutes left to go in the event.
"Finishing fourth is a great result for such a challenging track," Boehm says. "Now it is time to focus on the next and final GT Rivals event at Kyalami."

Mount Panorama is one of the most unique circuits in the world and this virtual track will be the biggest challenge of the inaugural GT Rivals esports invitational series.
During last week's race at Barcelona, Boehm held off Heitkotter, winner of five of the six GT Rival events, for half of the Barcelona contest, before getting clipped by a lapped car, taking him out of contention. This week, Boehm looks to contend for the podium again.
GT Rivals at Bathurst airs this Sunday, May 24th at 3pm ET across SRO’s GT World YouTube channel, SRO Motorsports Twitch Channel, and GT World Challenge America powered by AWS Facebook page.
