CrowdStrike driver Kevin Boehm is on an incredible run, celebrating an extraordinary four consecutive victories in the Pirelli GT4 America series in the 97 BMW M4 GT4 powered by Random Vandals Racing. This impressive winning streak, which includes back-to-back wins at Sebring International Raceway and a dominant sweep at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), has propelled drivers Kevin Boehm and co-driver Kenton Koch to a commanding lead in the championship standings. Sebring: The Start of Something Special
The streak began at Sebring International Raceway with back-to-back Silver Class and overall wins. These victories underscored the team's commitment to meticulous preparation. The Random Vandals team ensured all groundwork was laid for Sebring, allowing them to capitalize fully on every chance. Even an exploded AC compressor during practice couldn't derail them, thanks to the swift action of the crew. In Race 1 at Sebring, Boehm started sixth, skillfully moving up to position Kenton Koch for the lead after a competitor's mistake. Koch then dominated, winning by over 12 seconds. Race 2 at Sebring saw Koch start strong from P11, reaching P4 overall before a flawless pit stop by the team put them in the Silver class lead. Boehm took over, patiently securing the overall lead and bringing the #97 BMW home for a nearly 5-second victory. VIR: Extending the Dominance The momentum from Sebring carried directly into Virginia International Raceway, where Boehm and Koch completed a dominant sweep with two more first-place finishes. This extended their championship lead by a significant 32 points. Race 1 at VIR was a sprint. After a lightning delay, only six minutes of green flag racing remained. Despite the limited time, Boehm and Koch executed five passes, clinching a remarkable win. Race 2 at VIR showcased the team's sustained pace. Koch quickly took the overall lead from sixth, building a strong advantage before the pit stop. Boehm took over and, even after a late-race yellow bunched the field, aced the restart to secure their second win of the weekend and their fourth consecutive victory. Kevin extends immense gratitude to the dedicated team, Random Vandals Racing, and their invaluable sponsors and partners, CrowdStrike, AWS, Red Line Oil, BMW, and Operation MotorSports. With four straight wins, Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch are firmly focused on continuing their championship pursuit. |
